Once upon a time there was a lad who decided he wanted something different from his comics, so he set out on a journey to find those comics that tried something new, that experimented with the medium and pushed its boundaries, that relied on the creativity of their makers rather than the financial interests of a company. Though he is by no means an expert and is always discovering new series, he decided to share his finds with those interested in discovering new comics as well.
